marvelnextgenmodsCharacter Application Here are a few notes you will want to consider when building your character application for ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png){kind=small} nextgenerationmarvel: Alternate universe and time displaced canon characters are welcome. Adult versions of any canon teenagers are also welcome. When creating an original character, it is not necessary for that character to have parents who were X-Men or Avengers (although you are welcome to), so feel free to use completely original backgrounds. The choice is yours. Characters with canon parents should have a Date Of Birth after May 7, 1989. Exceptions can be made, but it will be at the mods' discretion. Regarding relatives: * No close relatives of active player characters will be accepted without discussion with those players. We want our related backstories to gel. * Applications for close relatives of semi-active or inactive characters, including siblings, MAY be accepted at moderator discretion. Players of those inactive or semi-active characters will be given advance notice and opportunity to comment, but they will not have the final say. These new relatives may be required to be estranged or from an alternate universe, if that would fit our continuity better. Please see our list of canon Marvel characters already in use for additional information. When your application is complete, post it here in the comments. Please give us at least 48 hours to look at your application and we will reply to your comment when it is approved. Once accepted, you can jump right in. If we have any problems or questions with any applications we will contact you for clarification. In some situations a sample with another player may be required. (You may also want to join our game musebox for additional fun). Please also track the OOC comm so that you will not miss any important game announcements.
Once your requests have been approved, some posts you will want to take a look at are:
✔ Our simple friends list builder - You are not required to add all the character journals if you do not wish, but it is recommended that you add at least the admin journal so you will have access to important game posts.
✔ Our contact information page - Please let us know if your personal info has been added correctly.
✔ Tags request page - Let us know what name you'd like to use for your character's game tag.
